Puk Tien ปึกเตียน is still beautiful*

My department had set up a "workshop" at Puk tien, Petchaburi province. The first day was supposed to be 'the' workshop and the second day was scheduled for a road trip back with many stop overs. I wanted to join the workshop, but I couldn't sacrifice my Sunday on the road. I've just bought a new book that I really really want to read and I have many things to blog in the developed.thailand. I tell myself that it's my duty to blog about Thailand in Thai as a good citizen of the country and the world. So I drove to Puk Tien and back, with my husband as a co-pilot in the front passenger seat.

Though, what a shame the workshop was actually 'not' a workshop. We actually did nothing. The activity ended about 30mins after it started, and the boss' boss who initiated this project did not join. I just sat at the resort's by-the-beach restaurant with my husband and..Blog.

Though, Puk Tien is still a beauty! It's our blessing that the world is composed of seas, sand, and sky, with flowers and trees.

When you have lots of stress and you can not say it you say โอ้ยยยยยยยยยยยยย โว้ยยยยยยยยยย And that's it. I'm happier now. โอ้ยยยย โอ้ยยยยย

Being married

I'm a Mrs. now! We actually got married on the 1 May 2007 at 11:49 am at Sapansung district office. Today I just went to the district office again to change the status in my ID card from Miss >> to >> Mrs. They are open half day on Saturday. It feels a bit strange looking at the card and saw Mrs. in front of my name. I've been using Miss for almost 28 full years.

Well... Being married for me I think it's like another stage in life. You have one more person that you really care for and 'attach' to. Your family is extended. It's not only you anymore when you want to make a certain decision in life. I think it's very important that you marry a right person! Definitely. I know everyone knows that, but still some people like to fall for bad guys/gals.

For me being married is...much better than it was before. You always have a friend who understands. You always have someone to talk to and share your view with, especially when you are a person who looks at the world from a totally different angle from other people's. It's just sweeter, warmer, and happier. Don't you feel happier looking at the person you love doing his or her own things? The person you want to be around.

Many of my friends are getting married this year. Some have already got married last year. We went to their weddings together. Happy times. For our own wedding though, I might be around the beginning of next year, maybe Jan or Feb. We are not sure yet. Sometimes it's just too difficult to decide and please everyone including yourself when you have an extended family. Well, we are going to make it. I just don't think about it anymore. When the time comes, I think we can decide on a right thing to do that will be best for us.

I don't know what the future may be, but I'd rather be happy with what it is right now, with the people I love as they are with me right now and enjoy myself in every moment. I would rather do that.

Went to the office again!!

I went to the office today...

I drove there, turned on the computer, ate my packed lunch, finished 2 "tasks", chatted with friends (actually complaining about the company and the bosses) and drove back home....

How do you feel about my life reading the sentence? I feel it's so BORING!!!!!!
And tomorrow I have to go to the office again. I don't mind working on some Sats or even Suns, but the 'environment' in the office..has turned bad. Exactly what I mean is..I think I'm doing too much. The person who should do my jobs now should be a level higher than I am. The question is "what are they doing?" And some friends I don't know what they are doing. They just kept asking for my help! Why can't they just finish their jobs and then we can discuss later to improve what they did? Can't we do that? I'm so tired..and my bosses, she is so irritating. She just wants to be in the front, but she doesn't lead! And when I helped her, she got angry! I think I'm complaining to much now. It's making me feel awful.

Working Saturday - desert

It's a working Sat again and the office looks like it's deserted. My direct boss doesn't come and the person sits beside me has just gone home. The guy sits opposite to me will come "a bit late" in the afternoon. Some of our friends went to Siam for lunch and have yet to come back..

Aching Packing ~_~

Gosh! It's soooo hot here in Singapore these few days. I cannot stand staying in the living at night. It's so hot and humid... I'm on leave on Thursday and Friday this week packing (and shopping)! It's good to be out while people are still working. he he~ I texted my friend that I was so happy out and she texted back that I should stop being irritating 'cos she was still stuck in the office. he he~ It always feels good, like when you skipped school and went to the mall when there were no kids in sight! he he.. My sister and I always agreed that it felt good.

Never-the-less, I had to do my packing and sort-out most of the time. It's quite tiring... I woke up this morning and my legs were all aching. I had to cancel an appointment to go to a church with my friend. We were going to his church around Expo MRT. So, I had to say sorry and just veg out on the sofa in front of the TV, watching nothing. ...>_<... Mum also feels tired. She had a nap sitting up on the sofa. Then, when she woke up, she asked me if she slept with her mouth open, 'cos she felt her throat was dry. She is so funny.

Saturday Party!!

The Saturday party was fun! Most of the friend came. It was funny that one of the friend couldn't find my unit. He got lost around the pool area. He called and I had to use a torchlight to attract his attention from my balcony. "Hey hey, Can you see me? Can you see a light? Hey Hey Here Here~" Then I had to give him directions through the phone. "Left now. no no no left left yes yes then go straight" ha ha It was funny.

For the food, we had Roasted Chicken, Herbal Chicken brought by Hwee Koon, Filipino Beef Curry cooked by Nico, Salad made by me, Vietnamese Spring rolls cooked by Bang, Rice~ (lots of rice~) by Danbee, Vegetarian Curry Puff brought by Kelvin, Fruits (Green Mango and Pamela) by my Thai friends, Strawberry&Cream Cake by me (ho! ho!), Chips by Adrian, Ice lollies and drinks by Dawn and YuChing.

It was fun. We talked a lot and took lots of photos. Nico kept saying that his cooking was so delicious! ha ha I guess it was, but I couldn't taste it. He also cooked Salsa for the Chips.

Then later around 10pm, our Indonesian friend, Bansar and his wife came with their baby boy, Ben. His baby is 1 year old already. Totally made in Singapore, he would proudly admit if you ask. It was Ben 1-year BD celebration as well, so they came late. The baby boy Ben could actually wink two eyes together! He's so cute.

My Crystal Piano

It's the last piano lesson today. Mr. Steven taught me until 5 pm something. My class was normally from 4 - 4:45 pm, 45 mins only. Today he taught me almost 30 mins more than the usual. I guess it was my last day and the next person was not coming. He changed the Solo for "Fly me to the moon" for me, so that it's more like a song, not a technical exercise. He asked me to give him my address and phone numbers in Thailand. Then before I left, he gave me a present too!! It's the crystal piano!! I'm so glad. It's such a nice of him. Looking at it I feel inspired. I feel I want to be really really good at it. It also reminds me of him and having a lesson with him. He is so good at playing piano. I think he graduated from the U.S. He would light up when he played and we were sort of enjoying ourselves. I found my love of music here! After started the lesson, I have always been dreaming of having a grand Piano of my own. Now he gave me one! I will definitely have a real grand piano at home one day...

I actually forgot to bring the card that I wrote for him today. >_<.. Was rushing out that I forgot all about it. So, next week I will have to go to the school in Plaza Singapura again to give him. He said Jazz was more popular now in Thailand and that I would be able to find Jazz lesson in Thailand too. He used to go to a night club and listen to Jazz music when he was in Thailand. He said the band there was a real talent. Still young, but they were real.

3 months Painiversary

3 เดือนแล้วนะเนี่ย ที่ปวดเท้ามา เริ่มเป็นตั้งแต่ ต้นเดือนพฤษภา ตอนนี้ก็ ปลายเดือนกรกฎาเข้าไปแล้ว
ตั้งแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมาก็มีความเปลี่ยนแปลง ดังนี้

1. ใส่นี่หนุนเท้าในรองเท้า ( In-sole )
2. ทำกับข้าวไปกินเองกลางวัน (เพื่อนๆคอยเช็คว่าวันนี้เอาอะไรมากิน)
3. ลางานไปหาหมออาทิตย์ละครึ่งวัน
4. เลิกว่ายน้ำ
5. หัวหน้าผลัดกันมารับมาส่ง
6. ได้รู้จักหัวหน้าคนญี่ปุ่นแต่ละคนมากขึ้น เพราะได้คุยกับเขาในรถ
7. กลับบ้าน 6:30 - 7:30 pm ทุกวัน แต่ไม่เกิน 8pm
8. ไม่ค่อยได้คุยกับเพื่อนกลุ่มเดิมที่สนิท เพราะไม่ได้กินข้าวด้วยแล้ว
9. สนิทมากขึ้นกับเพื่อนผู้หญิงที่นั่งใกล้ๆกันแทน
10. อ่านหนังสือธรรมะมากขึ้น
11. มีคนยิ้มให้และมาถามไถ่พูดคุยมากขึ้น คนที่ไม่เคยคุยด้วยก็มาคุยด้วย
12. เปลี่ยนมาใส่รองเท้ากีฬาแทน
13. ใส่กางเกงไปทำงาน
14. เมื่อช้อนสะอาดหมดบ้านก็ค่อยล้างจาน(และช้อน)ทีเดียว
15. ทนไม่ไหวแล้วค่อยเปลี่ยนผ้าปูที่นอน
16. กินผลไม้ ขนมปัง และนม เป็นอาหารเย็น
17. ขี้แย
18. วางแผนเส้นทางก่อนออกเดิน
19. จะไปขึ้นเครื่องบินไม่ต้องเดิน นั่งรถเข็นไป
20. รู้จักใช้ไม้เท้าช่วยเดิน (แต่ปวดแขนแทน)

Morning After... Painful...

เป็นเสาร์อาทิตย์ที่เพลียจริงๆ เมื่อวานยังดีที่เพื่อนมา คือขอให้เขามาอยู่เป็นเพื่อนเวลาคนล้างแอร์ที่มาล้างเมื่ออาทิตย์ที่แล้วมาซ่อมฝักบัวที่เขาทำน้ำรั่ว เลยมีเพื่อนคนฟิลิปปินผู้ชาย 2คน มาอยู่เป็นเพื่อนตอนเช้า เลยขอให้เขาไปซื้อของที่ซุปเปอร์ข้างบ้านให้ด้วย ก็ค่อยยังชั่วหน่อยไม่งั้นไม่รู้จะกินอะไร

วันนี้ก็เพลีย ดูใต้เท้ารู้สึกว่ามันปวมเป่งเลย ไม่รู้รักษาแบบฉีดยานี้ กับรักษาแบบค่อยๆกินยาไปหลายๆเดือน ไม่รู้อันไหนดีกว่า จริงๆอันที่กินยา Celebrex ไปหลายๆเดือนหมอเก่าก็บอกเองว่า ไม่ค่อยดีแต่สำหรับคนอายุยังน้อยไม่เป็นไร ก็ไม่รู้ยังไง เพราะตอนนี้ปวดทั้งสองข้าง ข้างขวาที่เคยปวดน้อยหรือไม่ค่อยปวดก็ปวดขึ้นมา ปวมด้วย น่าจะเป็นเพราะซ้ายเจ็บมากเลยมาลงน้ำหนักที่ขวาแทน

Last weekend in Thailand

เมื่อวันเสาร์-อาทิตย์ที่แล้ว ได้กลับไทย ก็ได้ใช้ชีวิตแบบไทยๆดี

วันเสาร์ตื่นมาเช้าก็มาเปิดทีวีดู ก็เจอโดเรมอน! เป็นตอนสั้นสองตอน มาตอน 8 โมงเช้า สนุกจัง พอดูจบ มีการ์ตูนเรื่องต่อไปมา อ้าว ทำไมพระเอกเสียงเหมือนโนบิตะเลย







......

ตอนเช้าวันอาทิตย์ก็พาแม่ไปวัด แม่บอกอยากไปบวชชี ก็เลยพาแม่ไปวัดบุญศรี แถวสุขาถิบาล 2 ที่นี่ตอนเช้าหลังจากสวดมนต์แล้วพระท่านจะมีเทศ สอนธรรมะก่อนเพลด้วย ที่นี่สอนนั่งสมาธิด้วย เคยไปแล้วรู้สึกว่าดี ก็เลยพาแม่ไป แม่ก็สมัครเป็นแม่ชีเรียบร้อย แล้วจะมาบวชเมื่อไรก็มาได้แล้ว บวชได้ทั้งแบบโกนผมและไม่โกนผม เสร็จแล้วก็เดินๆไป เขามีให้หล่อเทียนพรรษาด้วย เคยหล่อแต่ตอนเด็กจำไม่ได้แล้วว่า มีการต้มเทียนอะไรยังไง ก็เลยตื่นเต้น เขามีกระทะใหญ่เลยตั้งไฟไว้แล้วก็มีแผ่นเทียนให้เอามาใส่ในกระทะเพื่อต้มให้ละลาย แล้วก็ให้ตักไปใส่แบบที่ตั้งไว้ข้างหน้า ในแบบเทียนนั้นเขาก็จะเอาใส้เทียนเป็นเชือกๆไว้ โดยการเอาเชือกนั้นผูกกับไม้แล้วก็เอาไม้นั้นวางไว้บนที่หล่อให้ไส้เทียนยาวลงไปอยู่ตรงกลางตัวเทียน รู้สึกดีจังที่ได้สัมผัสกับวัฒนธรรมไทย ที่มีคู่กับพุทธศาสนามาตลอด เข้าพรรษาใกล้จะมาถึงแล้ว วันจันทร์-อังคารที่จะถึงนี้ก็จะเป็นวันอาสาฬหบูชา และก็เข้าพรรษา ที่ไทยก็ได้หยุดติดต่อกันเลย 5 วัน

Wheelchair Assistance

First to Board, Last to disembark

กลับไทยคราวนี้ จอง "Wheelchair Assistance" ไว้เพราะคิดว่าคงกระเผกไปไม่ไหวแน่ พอเช็ตอินกระเป๋าเสร็จ ก็ไปนั่งรอแล้วก็มีคนเอารถเข็นมารับ พอหย่อนก้นลงแล้วรถออกตัว แล่นผ่านเค้าเตอร์เช็คอิน เกือบหุบยิ้มไม่อยู่ หนุกจัง มีแต่คนต้องเดินกันไปมา อิ๊อิ๊ มีการหักหลบรถเข็นกระเป๋าที่เข็นซ้อนๆกันมาด้วย ต้องพยายามกลั้นยิ้มไว้ตลอดเวลา มองไปรอบๆก็อิ๊ มีแต่คนเดินกัน เราก็แล่นผ่านฉิว อิ๊ เหมือนเวลาเล่นเข็นเก้าอี้ล้อเลื่อนกันเลยะ พอไปที่ Immigration คนเข็นเค้าก็เอาพาสปอร์ต และGreen card ไปทำให้ที่เค้าเตอร์เสร็จ อิ๊ ไม่ต้องทำอะไรเลย เราก็ Thank you Thank you ทุกคนตลอดเวลา (พยามไม่ยิ้มร่า เดี๋ยวเขาจาคิดว่า ไอคนป่วยคนนี้ทำไมมันยิ้มร่านัก แถมตัวเล็กเด็กอยู่บนรถเข็น) รถมันแบบให้ฝรั่งตัวอ้วนๆนั่งได้สบาย แล้วเขาก็เข็นผ่านร้าน ผ่านคนผ่านอะไรไปทุกอย่าง หนุกจัง รู้สึกได้ถึงลมที่ผ่านผมไป ด้วยความเร็วประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร/ชั่วโมง แล้วพอเขาเข็นต่อไป แบบว่าเกตมันไกลมาก มาไทยเกตก็ไกลทุกครั้ง แล้วสิงคโปร์ชางกิแอร์พอร์ทมีร้านขายของเยอะด้วยมั้ง เกตก็เลยจะไกลออกไป เขาก็เข็นไปตรงส่วนที่เป็นทางตรง ก็วื้อ~ วื้อ~ โห เราก็นึก โหมันเร็วขนาดได้ยินวื้อเลยเหรอ (2 ก.ม./ช.ม.) พอหันไปข้างๆ อ้าว..เสียงทางเดินเลื่อนนี่เอง เอ่อ... รู้สึกโง่ๆเล็กน้อย... -_-'

แล้วคนเข็นก็พาไปนั่งจ่อที่ประตูออกไปเครื่องบินเลย ในระหว่างรอขึ้นเครื่องก็ได้คุยกับคนเข็น เขาบอกเขาทำงาน 8ชั่วโมง เขาบอก 8 ก็ อีนาฟแล้ว เขาก็บอกมีคนใช้รถเข็นเยอะเหมือนกันนะ โดยเฉพาะช่วงที่มีเครื่องลงเยอะ ก็แน่ซิ.. ลืมถามไปว่าแล้วมีคนเด็กอย่างเราเยอะไหม แล้วก็พบอีกว่าเขาเชียร์ France อยู่ เขาว่า France มีโอกาศได้ "The cup"

พอประตูไปเครื่องเปิดออก ก่อนที่เขาจะประกาศให้ใครมาขึ้นอีกนะ ก็ถูกเข็นเข้าไปก่อนเป็นคนแรกเลย เขาก็เข็นไปส่งถึงเครื่องบินเลย แล้วก็ขโยกขเยกต่อไปที่นั่งเองอีกนิด แป็บนึงก็มีแอร์เดินมาบอกว่า เดี๋ยวตอนลงนะคะ ให้รอก่อน You will be the last to disembark...

นั่งอยู่คนแรก ก็คอยดูคนที่เดินเข้ามากัน คอยดูนะ ถ้าเป็นผู้หญิงคนไทยจะเดินเซๆ เข้ามาทุกคนเลย เพราะของเยอะเหลือเกิน ท่าจะช๊อปกันสุดเหวี่ยง แล้วพอคนเกือบเต็ม เครื่องใกล้ออก ก็จะมีคนหน้าตื่นๆ แฮ่กๆ เข้า อ้าไอนี่ไอสายชัว พอเครื่องลงจอดแล้วเราก็ต้องนั่งรออยู่ คนเค้าก็รีบออกกันไป มีคนแบบว่า เอ๊ไอคนนี้มันนั่งรออะไรอยู่ไม่ขยับเลย เดินผ่านไปแล้วยังหันกลับมามองหน้าอีกไหนดูซิหน้าตามันเป็นไง..

ที่ไทยก็มีรถมารอมีคนเข็นคนไทยมาเข็นให้เหมือนกัน ไกลมากเลย แต่เห็นความแตกต่างกับสิงคโปร์เลย รถเข็นเล็กกว่าเยอะเลย ถ้าฝรั่งอ้วนนั่งก้นล้นแน่ คนเข็นก็ดีคุยด้วยตลอดทางเลย เขาก็พาไปรอกระเป๋า แล้วก็มือนึงเข็น อีกมือนึงลากกระเป๋าให้ด้วย โชคดีที่กระเป๋าเล็ก ขอโทษด้วยค่ะ ขอบคุณค่ะ >_<...

Piano day & Consumer experience

วันนี้ไปเรียนเปียโนที่Yamaha Plaza Singapura อาจารย์ก็ยกตัวอย่างว่าเล่นอย่างเราอย่างนี้ผิด ก็ทำเป็นทำมือเก้งก้างแล้วเล่นตกคีย์ อะไรจะสมจริงขนาดน้านเกือบหัวเราะแตกออกมา อาจารย์นี่เป็นคนเล่นเปียโนเก่งมาก เขามีนิ้ว 11นิ้ว มันเป็นนิ้วที่เกินออกมาตรงนิ้วโป้ง มีกระดูกมีเล็บเหมือนปรกติแหละ แต่ไม่ได้ขยับได้นะ ก็ใช้สิบนิ้วเล่นเหมือนปรกติ ธรรมดาคนที่เรียนรอบก่อนหน้าจะเป็นเด็กผู้หญิง สงสัยพ่อแม่บังคับมารึไม่ถูกกับอาจารย์ หรือยังไง เวลาครบเวลาประตูห้องเปิดก็เหมือนจะพุ่งออกมาจากห้องทันที หน้าบึ้งแล้วก็จ่ำอ้าวออกประตูหน้าไปเลย อาจารย์ก็เดินตามออกมาอย่างช้าๆ บางทีก็สายหัว แล้วอาจารย์จะอารมณ์ค้าง ถ้าวันไหนไม่ไปพักกินน้ำก่อนจะดุๆ เลยไปพักก่อนเถอะค่ะไปพักก่อนเถอะค่ะ

วันนี้กลับมาจากเปียโนก็มาซื้อผลไม้เพราะขี้เกียจทำกับข้าวแล้วเหนื่อย ไปซุปเปอร์ไปเจอคู่เกย์อีกแล้ว โหยตอนแรกก็ไม่รู้หรอกนะ เห็นผู้ชายคนนึงถือของพะลุงพะลังเชียวเดินสวนมาแต่ก็ทำท่ารีๆรอๆอะไรซักอย่าง พอเดินต่อไปก็ไปเจอผู้ชายอีกคนนึงกำลังเดินตามผู้ชายคนนั้นมา แล้วผู้ชายคนที่เดินตามมาก็พูดกับผู้ชายคนแรกว่า "You said you want some DVD?" แล้วตรงดีวีดีเนี่ย มันเป็น ดีวีดี๊ แบบเสียงละมุนเชียว เลยรู้เลย รู้เลย ฮี ฮี แล้วเดินเข้ามาในซุปเปอร์กำลังก้มหยิบกล้วยอยู่ก็มีเสียงผู้หญิงคนนึงร้อง " I don't want to live without youuuu.." ตามเพลงที่เขาเปิดในห้างซะดังเชียว แบบว่าดังมาก ก็อดหัวเราะไม่ได้ เขาเหมือนเป็นคนต่างชาติที่มาเป็นแม่บ้านหรืออะไรทำนองนั้น แล้วเขาก็หายไป(พร้อมกับเสียงเพลง) พอเราเลือกผลไม้เสร็จ กำลังจะยื่นมือไปหยิบนมที่ตู้ ก็ " I don't want to live without youu..." แบบได้ยินกันทั่วบริเวณ ก็ตามมาอีกแล้ว โผล่มาจากไหนเนี่ย หยั่งกะซุ่มรออยู่... ^o^/
